The Zaku II is the most common Zeon mobile suit at the beginning of the Gundam series, as well as throughout the entire Universal Century timeline. Since this mobile suit is one of the first ever created for battle, the Zaku II quickly becomes inferior to newer and more powerful mobile suits.
