This gundam is very detailed. Take the inner workings of the gundam such as the joints. They look like pistons and work like them too. Bandai is stepping up the detail to the master grade models. (Posted on 12/9/11)

Without the extra armor this model is a green; albeit stylized; RX-78-2. They share almost all the same frame parts in the 2.0 version. The arm mounted twin beam rifle is a nice touch as it looks great and stops the issue of the gun coming off. Some of the removable armor uses double sided foam stickers which work on most pieces. It does not hold well on the side grieves and these small circles on the side of the legs. If you plan to remove your armor I'd recommend small magnets to hold these in place. If not glue them in place as mine have fallen off so many times I lost count. Other areas such as the shoulder and leg armor snap in place and hold very well. One issue that I had was the legs keep coming out of the sockets. I'm sure if you paint the model that this may go away. The shoulder mounted Ransel, pop up rockets and all the other extras would make this kit an interesting addition to any collection. With these on this Gundam looks very imposing. The issues aside this is a nice kit and a very fun build. (Posted on 1/7/11)
