- Small gundam with a back problem Review by Robert
-
Very small gundam lots of detail and four core fighters. However the upper body pops out of the waist with the slightest touch. The small pieces make this a challenge so first timers should try a different model first. First this kit is extremely small... its almost HG size but the gundam itself is one of the smallest in the universe, think its even supposed to be smaller than the f91..... the box however is fairly large because this kit has so many parts it is highly detailed with lots of small parts that end up giving it alot of external detailsQuality Design Value
poseablity without a base is difficult with the vdash pack equiped due to weight issues but it looks awesome, my pose currently has the dash pack on with the "rail gun" posted up in the right hand and the chain gun on the left ready to destroy something.
The kit was a VERY FUN build with lots of parts in the end you get a total of 4 core fighters. the model is for me atleast pretty tight. i'm not having the same issues with the loose joints etc, everything is holding tightly with the exception of the extra "hip" cannons which are not shown in the picture above. they do fall of easily but with a good arm pose you can cheat and "hold them" in place or just glue them if you dont plan on displaying the corefighter/vdash pack in fighter mode with the guns on it (Posted on 2/17/11) - Extra Detailed | Extra Flimsy Review by Gundamn Insane!

First and foremost, this is a very nice looking model. There are lots of accessories and multiple configurations. This is also one of the most detailed and intricate master grade I've built, second only to the RX-0 Unicorn.Design Value Quality
This model has a lot of issues though, most of them stem from the fact that this model is tiny. So tiny that every other MG I have stands at least a whole head taller. Since it's so tiny there are issues with many of the joints and connecting pegs don't fit, or hold, very well at all. The hip joints don't hold the legs very well. The waist and torso connection doesn't hold at all, the torso won't stay on the waist unless balanced very carefully (I actually ended up using some thread to hold them together).
I wouldn't recommend this model to anyone unless they just couldn't live without it. This is also definitely not for rookies, it's just too intricate and flimsy, it requires a lot of patience and experience. (Posted on 1/16/11)
