The choice of weapons really make this kit! Review by StrawhatSoul

This was the first Master Grade I built, and I really thought he was going to be taller, though this is just a nitpick.
There is a small part on the bottom of the feet that keeps falling out and can be very easy to loose, so keep that in mind.
This variant of the Deathscythe has very good pose-ability, though because I lack a stand, there isn't a whole lot that can be done on the ground, with that massive beam scythe.
Speaking of this, the choice of weapons are the best part of the kit! Sure you only get two, but they really stand out, particularly the beam scythe which just brings this kit to life.
Overall, if you aren't to deterred by the small size of this Master Grade and you want a Gundam that focuses on melee, pick up this kit, it's worth it! (Posted on 2/22/12)
Overall impressed Review by Steven

Gundam Deathscythe EW, along will all the other redesigned Ver Ka. Wing kits, is absolutely beautiful even straight out of the box without paint. But despite it's looks, it has a small problem. Just like the other Wing MG kits, it has hands that can be switched by removing the fingers separately. I would much rather have multiple solid chucks for hands than having to deal with the fingers constantly falling off whenever I adjust his scythe. The only other thing is that if you've already built the MG of Deathscythe Hell, you'll be rebuilding a lot of the same parts just in difference colors. Not that it's a bad thing, seeing as how these Ver. Ka's are based off the Endless Waltz versions. Overall though, I believe it is a must buy. (Posted on 1/28/12)
A different Deathscythe but still good Review by David

This model is a bit easier than the Sandrock and very similar to the Shenlong build. However there are a few parts that you should be careful with when building Deathscythe: the knees, toes, and especially the head. The front part of the head is very delicate so handle with care! The entire model itself is a slimmed down version of the HG with more details and obviously, with a few Deathscythe Hell variations which I didnt really like, but it doesnt hurt the look and maybe its just me. The major con of it is that the Beam Scythe does not stick to the back at all, whatsoever so yeah. Doesnt hurt the model though and is very recommended. (Posted on 1/23/12)

just got it today and built it. it was an awesome build the only thing i didnt like was that the figure of duo is maybe an inch tall. compared to the HG EW models that give u a figure that is about 3 inches and actually paintable. very satisfied with the model though, this is my first MG and i was surprised at the mobility in the legs that they allow. My first real Deathscythe Review by Claude

When I first dove into this, I made all 1/144 versions of Deathscythe/Hell; but this is the first one I actually cared about. More detailed than the Ka Wing, and has a better marking set in my opinion. However the thing I didn't really like was that the marking page was vague. There are alot of markings that don't have a place, mainly the "Colonies liberation organization" and "Operation Meteor" ones. The standard EW serial marking goes on the shoulder, as can tell through pictures, but Either some were too vague or weren't needed at all. I think once you get the hang of the decals they do look alot better than the stickers (It just took me screwing up three model kits before I got the hang of it) (Posted on 5/9/11)
Pretty decent Review by Aleksey

A pretty cool looking model overall. Little more complicated than your standard MG or HG model. The press on decals were the only part that were really annoying. Didn't understand how to use them at first. Since they are kinda hard to peel onto the surfaces, I ruined a bunch of them. This model would've been better off with just stickers. Would've saved me the headache. (Posted on 4/21/11)
