I have bought and built this kit three times (painted them three different color schemes). I am a huge fan of the RX-78 and have built every version I can get my hands on and this one is great!Value Quality Design
As an experienced modeler I usually have to customize or modify kits to get them looking satisfactory but this one I actually built straight out of the box, applied the stickers that came with the kit and top coated it and it is beautiful! I would recommend this kit to anyone looking to get into gunpla or anyone who hasn't bought a kit in a few years. You will be impressed all the way through the build. Glad I have them on my shelf! This is my first ever Gundam model, I'm 35 years old and have been doing armor, ships, and planes for about 25 years off and on. I was always turned away by snap together models, but after watching reviews on YouTube and doing some research I decided to order a few kits and try my luck. This was well worth the investment. I am VERY pleased with the overall build of the model, the fit of the parts, compared to other kits I've built, the sprues are very clean, well marked and fit together well.Value Quality Design
My only "gripe" if you even wanna call it that, is I can't read Japanese so it's a little difficult to pick up on what they are telling you in the manual. However, I googled "Gundam model kit instructions in English" and found a site that had directions for a different kit and those translations provided me with enough to get by, going by the illustrations and what I found on the other site, basically explaining what all their little pictures stood for. this is way better than HG gundams. its like a mini master grade. loads of stickers to put on making the details look amazing on this bad boy. downside is some of the parts might keep falling off as you might try to pose it and what not. but a must have for any gundam fans looking to start in this RG series. As it says on the title of this review, this model was my first, and boy was it great!Design Value Quality
It took me over 10 hours to finish, and it was worth completing so I can have an awesome model to prove that I did it, and it looks great on my shelf! There is a lot of detail with the different shades of white and the decal stickers that came with the model are plentiful and highly detailed.
The poses that can done on this thing are brilliant, though, this brings a flaw in the design, a lot of pieces can fall off constantly.

This is a must have if you like building gundam models. The joint structure, color-splitting, and part design are nothing short of revolutionary. The building is a whole new experience even if you have built many gundam models before, and I kept saying Wow when I was building this. More amazing is that it is just about $30, which is less than half of the price of some MG models while providing even more wonder. The amount of detail in this work of art is just amazing. Though it took me a while to put together, all the small pieces add up to a masterpiece. It is really flexible, so you can make any pose you want. The stickers are very detailed too, and that was the only part that kinda annoyed me, seeing as how there are so many of the tiny things. Word of caution though. This one is not for the impatient or those with shaky hands. You WILL slightly damage it while assembling, one way or another. For the amount of work you will put into this model and how detailed it is, $30 is a steal. I would even go as far as to say its a must have. Nice kit with flexibility of a 2.0 MG. Lots of parts, some of which are extremely small. Be careful when assembling as you may lose them if your not careful. Simple inner frame assembly and very well articulated. I'm at a loss how Bandai was able to do the frame as they did. The arms and legs each look like one piece, but they bend and move like seperate pieces. One word of caution that on my copy the fingers pop off frequently. I'd recommend if that's the case with yours to either glue the weapon you want in place or buy the B-Club hands and use them instead. Other then that it's a nice kit. Stickers are nice but I've replaced them with waterslides. There are at least three kinds of white/grey/beige colors for the boy, two kinds of red and two blues. This is my second RG kit and I'm getting the next one as I like these kits. Think about an action base and getting the RG Char Zaku, they look fantastic in action poses attacking each other.
