GP Named to Newsweek's "America's Best Customer Service" list for third straight year
It's been a heck of a year; even before the pandemic began, we had already begun undertaking to move our entire warehouse while continuing to operate the business, so there were plenty of logistical challenges in our way even before the world got turned on its head. On top of both those things, manufacturing changes in Bandai's supply line meant allocated model kits for the first time in our company's history, resulting in the worst preorder roll-out of any model kit to date. To say the least, it hasn't been easy to stay on top of these things for the past 12 months.
The one thing we always remained completely committed to was transparency and clarity to all of our customers. We can't overstate how much we appreciate the patience and understanding our customers have shown us this year, and we wanted to return the favor by providing you as much information as possible about each order, at every step of the way. That's always been our goal even before Newsweek started tracking stats!
After being added to the Newsweek list for early 2019 and early 2020 when things were smooth sailing, we thought we'd had a nice run and we'll have to take 2021 off and regroup for 2022. We couldn't have been happier to learn that we pulled it off again--all thanks to our customers who responded to the Statista survey! We're thrilled to represent the Gundam hobby as the only Japanese import hobby shop on the list! You can see the entire post here!
We all look forward to continuing to bring you the best products and customer service in the industry from our warehouse in New Jersey. We especially can't wait until we can open our doors to walk-in customers so we can make the jump from the "Online Retailers" list to "Brick and Mortar Retailers," although we'll have some steep competition from the likes of LEGO and Disney. We think we're up to the challenge!
