Worth every penny. My previous God Hand SPN-120 nippers lasted me about a year, or somewhere around 20-30 Gunpla kits (mostly Master Grade, some Real Grade, a few High Grade, and one Perfect Grade), before the blade became chipped about the middle of the blade. To be honest, I was pretty rough on it and I have cut plenty of clear runners with it, which you're not supposed to do. They still cut great, but I have to position them now to avoid the chipped area.
I still use my chipped God Hands, which now are used to make the primary cuts off the runner, and my new God Hands for the cleanup. It's weird using a set of God Hands SP-120 nippers as my "junk" nippers now.
I was about to spend nearly $100 on a replacement from an Australian seller on eBay because nobody in the US had them in stock, but then you restocked these. Thank you for continuing to sell them for such a reasonable price.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

It's the Godhand, at the godprice. Only worth it for the dedicated modeler, but oh so worth it. So just to start out, these are exactly as good as the hype says. I've tried everything from knockoff Xuron flush cutters to Tamiya to the GP nippers and these are the king. They feel premium in basically every respect. The pliers are somehow heavy in the hand, whatever tool steel they use is dense. The detent screw is set perfectly right out of the box. The spring keeps the jaws open and prevents accidental closure or partial cuts without being heavy to close. The jaw is sharp like butter. Oh but the Cut is where the real thing is. The Cut is smooth and perfect and actually improves with your skill. If you just snug them up against the part and close them you still get a very good cut but once you get the hang of it you can basically skip sanding on most cuts.
I do two cuts with these if I'm worried about nub marks. I'll cut the part out with a little bit of nub left then go through and flush cut with the godhands once it's loose from the frame so nothing is pulling on it. I don't bother with using another set of nippers unless I'm cutting all the way through a sprue. I've also had no trouble with doing occasional angled cuts (you're not supposed to) as long as you don't try to do them with the tip, that could definitely bend the blade.
Overall if they're in stock these at around 55 vs other cutters at 35 the godhands are definitely worth buying the real thing.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

What everyone says is true These are the smoothest, easiest nippers I've ever used. I still use my junk nippers when cutting through thicker parts of runners.

I have Tamiya, GH Keropi and USA Gundam nippers. They are good, but I think it's time to try the gold standard... I also like to collect tools :D

Clean cuts but has hidden costs. With these you'll want to by a cheaper decent set for your primary cuts and cutting out clear pieces. Do not use this nippers on clear pieces, it will wear them out quicker. Be ready for these to break at any moment and keep the pouch on them when not in use or they will rust depending on where you live.
