Gundam Marker Fine Line Type [GM02 - Gray] This marker is great for beginners and/or those who do not paint their kits. The marker works best on unpainted surfaces. The glossy plastic that comes right out of the box is ideal, both for application and removal. I have used both the finger wiping method and the eraser method. Both have worked, but the key is to clean any excess immediately. If you wait too long, the removal process will be much more difficult. Enamel thinner has worked for me in this case, but BE CAREFUL – you could crack your piece, especially if it's ABS plastic. Also, remember proper ventilation. Otherwise, the marker is easy to use and can make quick work of panel lines on bare plastic.
The ink seems to be "oil based." This is directly translated from the Japanese on the marker. I am not sure what that means, but I feel comfortable treating it as a mild enamel based product. Remember, bare plastic works best.
