Gundam Marker Brush Type [GM21 - Gray] If you paint your kits, this marker may seem somewhat useless.
Although, I feel it does have it's uses (more on this later). However, if you do not then this is very convenient and handy to have. The ink is water-based, therefore easy to clean. You can use a cotton swab or your finger to wipe off any excess. The working time is fairly long. The brush tip allows you to cover a large area quickly, or small areas with some precision. The best surfaces to use this on are ones with a glossy texture, say bare plastic, top coat, or glossy finish paints.
If you do paint, than this can have it's uses. Since it's water based, there is very little chance of it reacting with the surface underneath. At least, I have not experienced any issues. Always test first! If in doubt: Top Coat! It's also handy in cases where you may want to add some quick details or highlight some panel lines.
As for the color, it may be too light for some. However, I prefer a more subtle look so I think it's fine. I like it on lighter colors, i.e. white, off-white, tan, etc.
Is it worth it? Remember, you are paying for convenience. Yes – there can be more cost effective methods, but those require more products.
