Near-Perfect Replica! I think this might be the best figure at capturing the Toei animation design I've seen out of all Grendizer figures. Unfortunatley, it doesn't come with the signature UFO part of UFO Robo Grendizer and was surprised there wasn't even a little TFO to display with it. Regardless, there's still a good array of customization and can pull off some very nice poses. (Note that it doesn't come with a display plug despite having a place to plug it in; as the figure is too heavy to hold long-time. In the pictures I borrowed the one from my Getter 1 since I prefer not to pose with clamps)
Due to the heaviness of this figure I recommend just posing him in a more stable standing position for display as to not risk him dropping. Classic Robot from a Classic Company I grew up watching all of the giant robot anime, but Grendizer was one of my favorites. I was looking for a good representation of him and had to go with Bandai. To me, they are the ones I always wanted as a kid and if I was going to get any giant robot figures, they had to come from Bandai. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Bandai's Soul of Chogokin is a series of nostalgic yet high-tech series of diecast metal robots or mecha, packed with hidden gimmicks and features. The designers start from square one for each release, constantly challenging themselves to bring out the unique potential of every robot. The Soul of Chogokin are the world's most advanced robot toys.
The legendary UFO Robo Grendizer joins the Soul of Chogokin DC series, perfectly scaled up to match the Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger figures (sold separately). Features separate waist parts for enhanced posability and great looks. Also features all three types of Grendizer Punches! The figure's head tilts back realistically both for posability and so that Grendizer can dock with the upcoming Spacer (sold separately). Includes three pairs of optional hands, L/R Screw Crasher Punch, Double Hariken blades, a stand and two support arms, and other optional parts.
NOTE: The Mazinger Z, and Great Mazinger die case action figures, and the Grendizer Spazer are SOLD SEPARATELY!
