Very fun This was fun to put together, and the joy of seeing a frog gundam in my display case has no equal. Be careful about the shoulder pieces coming apart, and take the weight of the hammer into account when posing it.
Cool and different. I really grew fond of this suit as I built it. It has surprisingly few parts because most of the body is just a front and a back, which makes it a bit less posable than usual. It's an easy build that's a bit different than a lot of other designs, though, and I love the huge hammer.
Chubby, but great. The HGIBO Gundam Gusion is a really great model. The design gives you machine guns on it's chest and head, a mallet, and a hand-held machine gun. The details are about 5% stickers and 95% panel lining, because of the surplus of grooves provided! The panel lining is easy to highlight and should keep you busy for a while. The assembly instructions were easy to follow. This Gunpla also stays together pretty well and doesn't fall apart easily. I highly recommend the Gusion.
Most Fun and Unique build This was the most fun I'v had building a mobil suit! its different and unique and fun! only complaint is that the wrist are a little weak when holding its hammer. its basically a battle turtle!
great kit i love this kit so much, fun to build and fun to panel line. it's a steal at this price and i will probably pick up a few more to paint. it is a love it or hate it design, i'm all for fatty frog gundam.
Cool design, flawed kit Being one of my favorite mobile suit designs, I found this kit to be a little more disappointing than it probably is. The seams on the should armor and the hammer are incredibly distracting, adding to the cheap feeling of a build that already feels and looks very toy-like. This kit can be made to look really good, but you'll need to glue and fill the offending seems, paint and then do a lot of detail painting. I did try to improve the appearance of the oob build with a dullcoat top coat, which did help. However, I still ended up having to address the other issues. Not a bad kit for the price point, but it reminds me a lot of the GTO HG Mobile Worker. All that being said, the rest of the engineering is well done while keeping the parts in scale and light weight. Some good weathering and battle scarring really make it pop as well, giving it an impressive shelf presence for it's size.
