Looks Great Amazingly it does stand on its own, so a stand isn't necessary. But I want one because this kit looks so good. The gold really pops. Love that the hip cannons fold behind. The different weapons and the shield allows for plenty of mix and matching. Be careful cutting out the wings as they get stress marks really easily.

Be Careful Beware of tiny peices; the v fin of mine did not want to stay on. That connection point is extremely loose so I just ended up gluing it. You will want a stand for the model aswell because the wings are so heavy. All in all its an okay kit, though you'd be better off spending a little more on the RG version.

A pretty good kit but some criticisms keep it from being amazing This was a pretty good build, not recommended for absolute beginners due to having to keep good track of the wings and their components in the later sections, but it felt comfortable for me (semi-new but with about 10 HGs completed).
PROS:
-Good articulation and posability
-It's satisfying to see it all come together
-Weaponry fits well in hands and is not side-specific (in fact, both its rifles and beam sabers can be dual-wielded)
-No loose parts; stays posed even with the heft of the wings/backpack
-Love the variation on colors here; clear parts add a bit of pizazz, and the gold that makes up a lot of its inner frame AND all of the polycaps looks pretty decent despite lacking actual "luster"
CONS:
-The head was much harder to build and keep together than most other kits I've done because the instructions for it are oddly-difficult to make sense of; I ended up using a drop of super glue on the red "gem" to hold it all together, but obviously that can be risky
-Its full-on form looks super ridiculous in a way that actually wraps around from "rule-of-cool" to just being dumb, but that's personal opinion obviously
-I absolutely hate dealing with older kits and darker colored plastics, especially blue, and this kit has two kinds of "saturated" darker blues that are unforgiving AND it will be extremely apparent if you don't have perfect cuts because the blues are primarily on the wingsComment Thank you for your feedback! Great looking build One of the best kits I have put together. So many great poses are possible, I may need to get a second one to have extra options available to me!
