I've Never Loved an HGUC Kit More! Headline: Lovely articulation but no more electroplated armor.
Lemme start by saying, that this is a fantastic kit. It looks really good, proportions look SPOT on, double jointed elbows, and knees, as well as 2 separate ball joints in the torso, U-joint hips, etc. It's the standard HG fare, but is done much better than the old one. Really, even as a straight build, I think it looks fantastic. It's also so darn sturdy! Maybe someday we'll see the Delta Plus from MSG:U redone with this frame. Oh yeah, all the read hoses? They're actually molded in a really nice deep maroon. Not metallic like in the product pictures, but still good looking. Also, short of the Beam Rifle, every weapon can be pegged onto the MS for storage.
Downsides? Well, no more electroplated gold. I actually never built the old one, and it never made an impression on me. I think the kit sill looks perfectly presentable, but painting it will look better of course. There's a pretty small sheet of foil stickers, but most of them aren't strictly necessary in my opinion. Another low point for me is the feet, which are just solid. I know it's not a transformable kit, but something with this much articulation and such long feet (compared to say, a GM/GM), and limited ankles, should really have a tow joint. Also, the Beam Rifle will need some paint for animation accuracy. Also, only the normal holding hands.
That's really it. If you've ever wanted a Hyaku Shiki that's more playable and articulated than the old one, the Delta Plus, and/or the HGBF Mega Shiki, this is a no brainer. It'll look decent with little effort and can pose pretty well. I'd say it's up there with the GM/GM for articulation owing to it's simple design.
One other nice thing? No shield. Can be dual wielding whatever you'd like to.
So yes, I'd absolutely recommend this kit.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Quattro Bajeena would be proud This is the gunpla I built from Zeta. Wish it was metallic coated, but it looks amazing as is. The weapons could use more color separation but after building an RG I've felt that way about all my HGUCs. Poseability is great! My favorite of my 3 HGUCs so far, but once I get around to my backlog that could change.

Pretty Good Kit It's an alright kit. I can't think of any issues I had with this kit but there really isn't anything amazing about the kit, not that it's an issue.

classic suit given new life another great revive kit as always with bandai. i prefer this one's color to the older ones "plated" gold which just looks too shiny for my tastes

The Pinnacle of 80s Design It's so cool! A gorgeous Mobile Suit that deserves its gold plating. Had some difficulty with the runners (often attached to parts in areas that made clipping awful), but that might just be a defect. Wings are a bit finnicky, but they stay in place once you finalize the positioning.

Good kit for my favorite Mobile Suit This kit, unlike other gold shikis, goes for an anime accurate shade and does a really good job at replicating it
Note the preview images depict the gun with 3 different colors and I would like to tell you that it is painted and the actual product is a single color, outside of that everything else looks as advertised
Favorite parts to build were the shoulders and the part I disliked doing was applying the visor sticker
Loose parts are the wing binders and antennae so I would advise gluing them
Overall, the design looks amazing and does justice for one of my favorite Zeta Gundam mobile suitsComment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -
