Clockwork, folks! A new Unicorn series is on the horizon, and new model kits are following close behind! This kit is the first time the Phenex has made its way to a standard release high grade, and of course it comes with the two massive Armed Armors (complete with new flexible "tails") and the Unicorn-standard Beam Magnum! In the interest of keeping the cost manageable, the kit isn't electroplated gold--but at least that will make painting easier if you decide to go that route!

4 beam saber handles, not a single blade. I love this kit. The base gold plastic is a bit marbled and kinda translucent but with some metallic spray paint it is perfect. HOWEVER, You get four beam saber handles and not a single blade, which isn't even a criticism because it's honestly hilarious.

Decent kit, but has FLAWS. Got this kit for christmas and was exited to build it, even though I have built the RG Unicorn/Banshee (hopefully bandai will make Phenex) its still a decent Unicorn kit. As per usual with unicorn kits its Semi-Limited in articulation. But whats the worst offender is even though its a 10 year old kit, they could have improved some elements like the loose leg joints, weak arm joints, and as per usual.....that HORRIFIC mustard gold they use. Even with the Gold Plated Ver.it should have under cut for the nubs, but nope. You are left with NASTY and I mean NASTY nub marks that can't be felt with, molding errors. its not a bad kit int any mean, cause the original HG Phenex was a Exclusive only to Gundam Base Front, and would have to pay rediculous prices for it. And the tails is so poorly made, mine broke after painting it cause of the loose Tail Stabilizers wouldn't peg in.
All is said and done for this kit, Avoid the Gold plated Ver. if your a clean freak about nub marks, and getting this one instead and paint it yourself. but its glad to have HG Phenex that is not Exclusive anymore.Comment Thank you for your feedback!
