Good Solid MG (with one exception) Had a good time with the build on this one and for the most part it holds together very well. Doesn't feel as stiff to pose as most modern MGs due to the polycaps in most of the knee/elbow joint pieces but it doesnt feel painfully loose out of box either. The one issue i had and i dont know if its because of how i put it together but the top of the head that has the blade antenna on it just loves to fall off with the slightest provocation to me. Might want to glue it if you're having the same issue, not like it moves anyway. If you want a RX-78-2 but dont really want one of the more classic variants, definitely go for this its a great kit.

A Thoroughly Enjoyable Build Let's get my 1 negative out of the way: It's a relatively easy build. While building it, I tried to understand why this kit is designed like it is because it's odd. It doesn't fit the mold of normal MGs and that can be seen as both a positive and a negative. I see it as a positive and would recommend it for anyone wanting to make the jump into MG.
I'm happy to say that I had a great time detailing it, as it gives any avenues to paint in its tic-marks in traditional or non-traditional ways (I painted them all in Gundam Red, it really pops on the white legs and arms). Worth a Try Age designs aren't for everyone, but this kit should be. There is some really cool design elements and engineering going on here, and it's one of my favorite builds. I hope I can find the other variants some day to go along with this one.

This kit just utterly does away with all the terrible RX-Brand garbage that plagues bandai designs. No huge feet, no shrimp arms, no pin-head.

Point 1: Inner detailStructure is designed/modeled not only for just the inner parts but also to be mechanically detailed on the outer parts such as shoulders, knees , and more.
