A Pound Puppy Of A Kit To make it short and sweet, this kit is in dire need of love and attention when you snap it together out of box. The arms are super fragile, and the legs have a little bit of a weird, weak design to them. The marking stickers this kit comes with are NOT trimmed to fit the model where they are supposed to go, so extra trimming is a necessity if you wish to use them. Dry transfer decals and foil stickers are included, which was a little bit of a let down for me since I've been so used to Ver. Ka kits having water slide decals.
A couple other issues with the kit are the lousy arm armor not sticking in place, the color inaccuracies with a couple parts (they do provide some foil stickers, but come on... Foil stickers for a Ver. Ka kit? That's just lazy), and the shallow connection points for the weapons.
The pros of the kit though are numerous. Arm articulation is superb, you can get just about any kind of pose you want with them and more. The hands have some articulation as well, though each finger itself is not individually articulated. The accessories are also a huge bonus. Beam effect parts out the wazoo, knives that go into either the feet or can be plugged into the handles which hide super well in the back of the legs, scissor anchor chains that attach to the front skirts, and the screw whips which can be posed in any way you want thanks to the included copper wire. On top of that, the chest can either be built with either the plain surface chest to allow you to put on the Crossbone Vanguard logo, or to build it with the slotted chest to allow you to attach a rather well detailed skull and crossbones.
All in all, do some hand-painting and some gluing, (and probably get water slide decals in place of the crappy marking stickers), and this kit will be an amazing addition to your collection!Comment Thank you for your feedback! This kit sucks The hands can't hold the weapons, arm joints are horrible, backpack doesn't line up, and the cape is a joke.

Skull and Bones I have the triple threat X1, X2, and X3. I built this kit over 3 times and would do it again. Some parts are small and can be a pain but the end result is beautiful.
