A Great Tool for Straight Builds This is a glass file made for smoothing out nubs and surface irregularities. It takes a bit of getting used to but can remove nubs quite well and cleanly.
This is a great tool for straight builders as once you learn it, it's quick and easy to use. It will leave a shiny surface where the file was used so you may want to buff the area with the balancer (green side) and rub a cloth over it.
I opted for this kit over the other set as it was cheaper and the Recover clothes didn't seem worth the extra $15. I could get the same effect from using an old t-shirt. Excellent performance, for a price. It is a little expensive for what it is, but it performs excellently.
Compared to using a file or sanding sticks this is a night and day upgrade in tool quality. The only down sides I have found with it is that there are some hard to reach areas where this is just too thick and wide to get into that I still have to use a craft knife and that the price might be a little higher than some people are willing to spend.
