I was worried about this kit after seeing a few other reviews but after building it, it isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I'd seen rumors about weak shoulder joints but was happy that my kit had pretty strong connections. The only real problem I had was with the waist skirt armor repeatedly falling off to the point where I just glued it on. There were some frustrating points during the build, mostly on the head when inserting the yellow vents on each side of the face. They don't snap in and just float there. Other than that I really had a fun time with the build and it looks great with my other Gundam Wing EW kits.
Big Fan I was a big Fan of this build it is super detailed. The black does tend to show nub marks so if you aren't a painter you may not want this. But I LOVE the kit. Some of the smaller parts are not ideal small part of the front of the foot I just glued. The face I will likely glue after finishing and painting. I still love him and he is going to look good with the rest of the MGs once I finish them
Not as bad as others say I dreaded building this MS and it was the last I needed of the wing boys, but I found it to be a decent build in the end. Highly poseable despite the awkward shoulders with no parts coming off and honestly looks better in person in natural/darker light vs pro pics under a spotlight. Don't let the naysayers dissuade you Deathsycthe is solid!
The waist skirts ruined it I was very fond of the Gundam Death Scythe because it was a complete badass in the anime and has the unique weapons. I was so happy while building this kit however when working on the side skirts, i got upset, the rear skirts kept falling off and the side skirts didnt fit correctly, and the front skirts were too loose. I had to sand and coat pieces in order to get it to look and work properly. So if you are a novce, id look elsewhere but if you are comfortable sanding and coating tiny parts then go for it.
