Absolute Nightmare of a Model I really want to have something good to say about this kit, but unfortunately as my header implies, I have very little praise to offer it. I'm already not entirely familiar with building RG kits as I've only put together two of them. (Justice Gundam and this) Getting on to the issues I experienced while attempting to assemble this.
1. The chest refuses to stay connected, it just does not stay in place whatsoever.
2. The cockpit hatch (two red pieces on chest) are loose and will not stay closed.
3. (This is a screw up on my part) Cannot take apart the large backpack thruster parts in order to rotate them into place.
After repeatedly trying to fix and work on this kit I finally gave up, don't know if I'll ever finish it.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Wonderful kit (but don’t touch it) Back when I was a kid this gundam was the first gundam I ever owned. It was part of a “battle damaged” line. Anyways, I wanted to build the model. It’s a wonderful build but be VERY careful. The way it’s built it comes apart very easily at the cockpit due to it being a stand alone jet. I would still highly recommend.

Great Design, Fragile top I had a lot of fun building this kit, and it was in fact my second ever Gunpla. Sadly the top it a little wobbly and I had to purchase a stand in order to get it to stay relatively stable.
Sadly this wasn't without some casualties. Both the head antenna and the right shoulder have broken on me. The shoulder luckily was easy to fix, the antenna though was sadly lost.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Great Kit Overall, Few Flaws This is a really cool kit with lots of little details and features. The transformation with the core fighter is both the best and the worst part of this kit.
Waist down is super solid and easily pose-able, but the connections in the torso are loose and it tends to come apart when moving. Otherwise the other problems are minor, the shield is a little difficult to keep attached and I recommend using a little adhesive on the kneepads.
When finished this kit looks great and a little panel lining goes a long way with all the tiny details on the white. There are tons of decals included in the box and the color separation is great.
Overall this is a must have RG in my opinion, especially for the price. You can't go wrong with this kit and you'll definitely get your money's worth.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Very pleasantly surprised by its excellent look Bought this because of its unique Core Fighter. But this guy is great. Straight build is a little blend, and those thick legs stand our. But with panel lining and decals applied, and also a bit of touch ups (chromed-out thrusters, and gold over the yellow), this guy looks fantastic. With semi-gloss top coat, it gives such a great presence just standing there. I won't play with the transformation much, since it looks a little fragile. But put this guy on a turn table and admire its tough look and chrome thrusters.

Fun build, fragile core block. This GP01Fb was a great build and was a decent first step into the RGs. My biggest issue however was the core block. Where the fighter meets the upper frame of the mobile suit is the most fragile and frustrating part of this build (a good solution I found was a small amount of poster putty on the connecting posts, it really holds the core block down well and doesn’t permanently lock in the core fighter to the frame!)
Other than that, it has amazing detail with all the decals and the beam rifle! The flexibility of the inner frame is also great and impressive. It is absolutely worth it to add this to your collection!Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

This is why Anaheim Electronics is the true enemy in UC Gundam I love this design. Honestly the fb upgrade to the RX-78GP01 was the first gundam I ever saw, and I have wanted a model of it ever since. I love how the model displays, I love the details that shine through in a PG kit, and it was an awesome project overall. I loved the PG size because it made this kit an extremely technical build, and technical builds mean more time spent modelling and less time spent feeling trapped in an endless oblivion of Coronavirus sadness.
However dear lord the core block system on this thing. I recognize that PG models are super complex for their size, and understood that going into it I might as well be building an actual gundam, but the integrated core fighter in this model kit makes the entire kit less stable than Animal from the Muppets after a particularly large line of white lightning. Trying to mate the upper torso and arms to the lower torso with the core block system in the middle is exceptionally difficult, and it makes the model super fragile. I think this kit would have benefited from having a separate core fighter model, and being able to build the Gundam itself without the ability to remove the core fighter.Comment Thank you for your feedback! A simple yet complex build. The RG GP01 Fb is a great RG kit and I highly recommend it, but the Core Fighter can be a pain when your trying to pose the kit.
