Great for buffing! I use this primarily for the Extra and Very Fine sides, and primarily on shiny parts that I've had to sand down the nibs pretty excessively to get them hidden. It works great for getting the surface to a consistent smoothness, and when used this way, the triple grit works great and last a long time. However, due to it's size, the Fine grit doesn't last very long.
