GUIDE for Beginners

Lvl 1 : Try a couple of our Level 1 model kits. No tools are required. These "touch gate" snap-fit models are perfect for starters.

Lvl 2 : Next try HG models. High Grades have a lot of play value upon completion, but don't forget you'll need basic tools!

Lvl 3 : To continue building more models, you can build a collection of tools to make the process smoother and easier.

Lvl 4 : Once the kit is built, you can make it look better with a variety of methods like panel lining, top coating, and applying decals!

A Stylish and Rewarding High Grade for Beginners. - The Gundam Breaker Battlelogue series kicks off with the protagonist Ryusei's own Gundam Helios, an amalgamation of the Freedom, Destiny, and Double X Gundams all wrapped in a slick blue and white color scheme. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical of the designs of this particular line, even after watching the anime, but I decided to start with the Helios. In short, I was pretty impressed by the amount of detail packed into this kit, particularly with the various effect parts and weapons that come with it. Firstly, the strengths of this kit lie in the dynamic poses you can create, as well as the very distinct and vibrant aesthetic common to the other mobile suits in the Battlelogue line. It's definitely got that SEED flair with the sharp edges and reflective segments of the armor, which give it a strong appearance even amongst other High Grades on your shelf. Moreover, the ways you can customize this kit with other Battlelogue mobile suits is a nice bonus that rewards creativity, though in my opinion, it's perfectly stylish on its own merits. The weapons and accessories you get are solid as well with the standard loadout of Beam Rifle, Shield, and Double X Beam Sabers, but it also comes with an effect part to recreate the Palma Fiocina from the Destiny Gundam, which is an awesome touch. However, given all the really cool aesthetics and effects bundled into this Gundam, it can be a little top-heavy and perhaps overwhelming to a novice gunpla builder, since there are a lot of stickers to recreate the relfective parts on the wings and plenty of weapons to keep secured. I would definitely recommend having an Action Base on hand to really keep the unit sturdy. Even so, I would still very much recommend this to a beginner, because it's a fun and rewarding build to those who have the patience to assemble its various armaments. If you also happen to have some Gundam Markers lying around, they would do wonders for touching up some of the reflective parts instead of using stickers. Two thumbs way up! Happy building!
