As another year comes to a close and a brand new one begins, I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped us through our busiest season yet: our incredible staff, our long-time Gundam Planet supporters, and all of you who discovered us for the very first time this year.
Our new website, launched on a completely new platform, has received glowing internal and external reviews. For the first holiday season ever, we didn't have to worry that the site may go down during peak shopping times! Not only that, but the expanded suite of payment and shipping options have been a huge help. Features that we all miss from the old site though, like "back in stock" notifications and a true wishlist, are currently being worked on with the intent to roll out soon. We’re also adding dark mode so that you can browse our site any time you want without the dreaded "Bamco Flashbang" effect.
Another big 2025 launch was our Gunpla classes, which we were so happy to receive positive feedback on. In 2026 we plan to expand the workshops even further, allowing people space and time to build throughout the whole week.
While 2025 was full of positives, it also brought its share of challenges. Although April and May were filled with uncertainty due to fluctuating tariffs, things seem to have stabilized and we have been able to accurately and fully incorporate them into our pricing model so that you don't have to worry about any extra charges on delivery. I cannot thank our hard-working team enough for navigating those challenges with care and transparency.
With that behind us, I truly hope that 2026 will be a year where we get to share 100% good news with all of you.
In the very near future, we're going to be able to share the pride of the Bandai Spirits brand, the PG Unleashed Nu Gundam, with all of you. We've confirmed that we will be able to receive our full order quantity, which we can't thank Bandai enough for. It's going to be a premium product and an all-time great build, and it's also a personal reminder to me to pick up my nippers again!
