Maomao was living her day-to-day life when she unexpectedly winds up working in the royal palace as a servant. Her peculiar behavior and extensive knowledge of medicine, poisons, and the like attract the attention of the mysterious but very beautiful Jinshi. This ultimately leads Maomao on an unexpected path right in the middle of all turmoil within the palace. Using her knowledge and wits, she carefully navigates the palace while she and Jinshi learn more about each other.
