Hello everyone!
Thank you so much to everyone who has been with Gundam Planet & Figurise in 2023!
I hope you all had a fulfilling year and were able to achieve your planned goals.
How many model kits did you collect in 2023? Or have you started showing interest in collectible figures as well? Although not many new Gunpla were released in 2023, Gunpla remains incredibly popular at Gundam Planet, and we can see why! While assembling kits like MG Z Gundam Ver.Ka or MGSD Barbatos, we once again marveled at Bandai's design architecture.
In addition, traditional hobby companies like Kotobukiya released many model kits that enthusiasts can deeply immerse themselves in, such as new Bishoujo model kits and Hexa Gear units that are all interchangeable with each other. I felt their passion was remarkable. From the Moderoid lineup, they released so many mechanic models that may not be mainstream but have extremely high nostalgic value for some people (like us). These models are presented with fantastic packaging and are being displayed little by little in our store once completed. It would be great if you could come by and take a look.
In the figure realm, I am continually impressed by the high-end characters and die-cast figures. Wouldn't it be wonderful to display all your favorite characters in these stunning forms? However, even affordable range figures have improved significantly, allowing for the creation of interesting galleries with multiple items from $20 to $50.
Above all, our favorite part of 2023 was being able to participate in more local events than ever before, and meet and communicate with so many new enthusiasts we hadn't met. Next year, we hope to have even more opportunities for engaging in fun social activities and events in New York, New Jersey, and hopefully even beyond!
Thank you all for your support, and we'll see you all again next year!
