Bandai Hobby is utilizing improved layered injection technology to achieve a level of realism not previously possible in model kits, and they're flexing their muscles with the first release in the Figure-rise LABO series, a model kit of Fumina Hoshino! The layered injection features a semi-translucent property to allow a level of visual warmth and shadow to replicate the nature of human skin, allowing for a beautiful smooth appearance. Not only the skin, but the swimwear and eyes are also layers of constructed plastic, further reducing need for paint and stickers. A display stand featuring clear blue plastic simulating a splash of water is included as well, and the figure will stand almost 10 inches tall upon completion!
