True to form An accurate and awesome interpretation of G1 Optimus. The build is detailed but clunky in complicated areas like the head and chest.

Tougher Build, great finish Fun kit to build, although the torso was difficult to assemble, due to some temperamental parts (fit was way too tight after painting, unlike previous Furai builds). Also, the arm joints are not well-fit, and tend to fall off. Finished product looks solid, if much more toy-like than previous builds. Having said that, with a metallic finish and some distressing for dirt and scratches, this s one of my favorite kits in this Transformer lines. Worth the extra effort to complete.

Almost Perfect G1 The model looks fantastic when finished. I wish however he had a bigger chest I think its a bit small. I paint all my kits and use after market decals so stickers are not something I am concerned about. The chest opens just like in the cartoon revealing the matrix and he comes with a set of hands to show he's holding his chest open. The only thing I didn't like is when disassembling it for paint unlike most kits i had to take this one completely apart to cover everything properly usually you can leave a lot of parts together. I think the price is Fair $40 isn't to bad but I think $30 would of been more attractive of a price

Better than earlier Primes The build isn't very smooth, but it's better than some of the earlier Transformers kits, and relies only very lightly on decals. The end result, though, is a reasonably attractive G1 Optimus. Still a bit expensive for what you get, though.
