Decent for a beginner The Grida is my first scribing tool, and so far I am satisfied with it. I suspect that higher end chisels and the like produce better results, but the Grida's selling point to me is it's easier to use if you're a noob. It's bi-directional and less angle-dependent than normal chisels.
That said, of course, it's pretty limited in what it can do. It does standard panel lines at that's it.
