What a monster When I bought this kit I bought it with the regular HG Barbatos and at that time I wasn't caught up with IBO so I was only familiar with regular Barbatos. But damn, this is thing is so cool. Barbatos Lupus has more armor than Barbatos making it bigger and look more intimidating. My gripe is that leg poseability is still a problem as Barbatos evolves. The hands seem to be missing the claw detail and just look like regular MS fingers. My biggest problem is that the torso detaches from the waist piece too easily. I have the Dantalion and the Barbatos which have the same parts but Lupus is the only one with this problem. The ball joint just doesn't like staying in.
Amazing kit of an amazing Gundam! As an avid fan of Iron Blooded Orphans, I just had to get this kit. Took me two hours to build and the building process was a bit frustrating at times (especially the torso), but it was worth it! The mace is a bit loose in its hand and the waist likes to pop off easily (at least mine does), but overall it's an awesome kit and I highly recommend it. Plus, no matter how you pose it, it looks menacing on your display shelf!
The Devil of Tekkadan This Gunpla is beyond amazing. Everything from the shoulder pieces molded to form Tekkadan symbol to the sword mace to the poseabily and the color separation is fantastic. Bandi really did their homework with this kit.
Not a bad first kit It's a pretty solid build, like most IBO kits most of the pieces will fall off pretty easily. You only get the grabby hands to hold the mace. But It's a good first kit to start off with.
Amazing Build! To start, I wasn't a huge fan of this series. For me personally the Gundam's don't appear to me to be Gundam's. That's what the creators were going for so I have a love/here for this series. I must say this Gundam is built like no other Gundam Model kit I've ever made (I've done some 25ish kits ranging from MG, RG, and what we are reviewing here; HG. It's hard to explain what I want to say here so you just need to believe what I say is true. The way the parts move, the way the waist attaches while having two hydraulic looking rods appear to flex when twisting side to side, it's just simply engineered intelligently. Absolutely recommend this kit for the price point. It comes with a few foil stickers (which I hate when any kit includes them since you basically get one shot to put it on correctly or else you risk revealing the silver foil from the other side from bending and abrasion. Also it only comes with one big ass buster sword which stays true to the series.
Looks good but fragile Hip joint keeps falling and makes the kit wobbly(glue is an easy fix) the weight of the sword on its hands make it fall but also super glue can fix this, looks good but to my taste was too fragile
My first Gundam Excellent model for first Gundam even with the poor posability and mine was clearly late in the mold's life because the joints all needed some cement attention.
My First Gundam Got this right after falling in love with IBO 4 episodes in. Having experience with models this was excellent but was a tad disappointed by the poor posability.
Finishing: Top Coat/Super Clear
