Sleek and Powerful The Barbatos is definitely one of the more interesting takes on the Gundam design, while still keeping the classic blue, white, red, and yellow theme throughout. The joints are strong enough to hold either the sword, or the giant mace too.

Good kit. Fun build and good-looking kit with several options to customize for different points in the series. Some of the joints are a bit loose, and it has trouble holding up the glaive with only one hand. There are also quite a few touchy decals, but they look alright once you get them on correctly and are mostly easy to replace with a little paint if that's your thing.
Quick, easy build worth the low cost. Only took a couple of hours to finish this great looking model, but a warning before you start; it has some TINY stickers. It's really the only complaint I have.
A Lotta Bang For The Buck You Spend Putting it simply, this kit is easily worth the $12 it is listed at. Super easy to pose and put into dynamic poses, and the arms can easily hold any of the weapons with no effort whatsoever. That being said though, the shortcut on the prices more than likely involve the gratuitous use of foil stickers throughout this kit. All the red power-like symbols all over the MS are all foil stickers that you need to stick onto the areas where the plastic is carved with the symbol inside of them. That being said, it would be very easy (and highly recommended) to paint the symbols with whatever color you desire. Numerous color correction foils are used in other areas on the MS as well, but hey, if you're looking for cost effectiveness, corners need to be cut in certain areas.
Great kit at a fantastic price Everything about the Barbatos is perfect. The possibility is great the color separation is also great. I have no complaints about this kit. Highly recommended.
Fun and easy to detail This is a well engineered kit that really only needs some detail painting to make it look great. I built mine up as the original Barbatos and didn't use any stickers. I only used some markers and sandpaper to detail the symbols and some gray and red parts on the armor, and I repainted the yellow parts with gold spraypaint. I added some aftermarket COS decals, applied some light weathering, and top coated it with dullcoat. It looks like the entire kit was painted. I also painted the frame in black primer and gunmetal with gold details. Very little effort for the results, attesting to the good design and engineering of the kit. A lot of fun!
