Let's dive! The HGBC Diver Gear is a great stand for HG gunpla that provides a lot of armaments for accessories as well as being stylish.
The action base comes with a handful of parts to help support models and give options to have gimmicks displayed. Covered in a gloss plastic and green clear base, any gunpla can look fantastic on it.
Only con that can be mentioned is that due to the gloss, nub marks can appear pretty grossly. You may need a bag to store the extra parts that come with this stand but i wouldn't classify being spoiled with more parts a bad thing.
Overall the HGBC Diver Gear is a stand I recommend for gunpla modelist who want to add a little extra to their display.
The Base of Bases This is by far the best Base I have seen for Gunpla. It really goes well with any HG kit. The mounting options are vast and it's easy to put together. Though the design is great, like the GP Base base it comes with a paper insert to mark the Gunpla's name. I personally wish they would add a plastic insert so you could just write it and wipe it away. But unlike the GP Base base the Driver Gear looks great even without the insert in it. Good job Bandai.
Don't hide the details! This is a great base that is pretty flexible for posing and customization options. The plastic lens is an attractive green-blue tinted color that would look good if you paint the base or build it oob. There is an awesome 3D texture underneath the lens that just begs for painting, and it looks significantly better than the paper overlay. Don't get me wrong, the overlay looks good, but the details underneath are significantly more interesting to look at. This base is also wide enough to accommodate larger 1/144 builds without looking out of place, and gives enough room to connect other bases without having to "squish" the Gunpla together. A well thought out design that strikes a nice balance between generic and custom.
A Base Fitting for Build Divers I never bought the Build Fighters GP Base when it was out, mainly because the store I sometimes go to did not have it in stock, but compared the the 1/100 clear action base it is a very good at it's job.
Despite being smaller than my first Action Base, it it comes with just as many parts to display your Gunpla in whatever manner you choose, within reason.
A quick word of warning though, the clear green part the base is is very finicky and because of where the gates on it are, if you try to sand it too much, it could cause the 'glass' to have a loose fit and easily pop out if tilted. This may be an easy fix with some cement, but please be careful nonetheless.
Ace of Base This thing makes a great base with a host of options could even use it for a close combat display. No matter what kind of base you are looking for with the option to mount three models makes this well worth it's weight in plastic..
