Using this for a Custom Exia When i saw this in the Anime i was like "MINE! MINE MINE MINE!" then saw both the MG and this HG. anyway enoguh of my Rambly rambly this is a great kit with some small flaws that dont hinder it just are annoying and that is pretty much it and with the Back pack being a different part you could slap it on to other kits and have fun. but well worth the fun and build :D

Great Gundam but has some minor flaws The kit is amazing with it very easy to build and the suit without the backpack is a solid piece. The only problem is with the backpack makes it a little bit difficult to pose without the sword mounted on the waist or the shield falling off, however this could be the builders own flaw. However it is a still must have for an Exia and/or Build Fighters fan.

A good HG slightly held back by its base model This is an innovative take on the original Gundam Exia design. However, this is based off the arguably dated 2007 HG Exia. The only big offenders are some nasty seam lines on the front/back of the thighs and top of the head (don't let the promo images fool you!) that can easily be cemented and sanded down. Other minor "problems" you might see are the single jointed elbows that rotate just over 90 degrees and the ball jointed hips (which is pretty hard to avoid given the design of the Exia itself). On the plus side you get extra parts (not indicated in the manual) that allows you to take the clear green blade off the Amazing GN Sword and make another proper sword to have dual swords like the Exia Dark Matter.
tl;dr: Although based off an older kit, this model still holds up fine even with some minor issues. If you like this design then pick this up!
