Great kit G Gundam is my favorite series, so always excited when I can get a kit from it. Pretty standard build as far as HG kits go. Comes with interchangeable head as well as a larger shining hand and sword for that fight against Master Asia. Definitely recommend!
This hand of mine glows with an awesome power! I watched this show as a kid, so getting the model of it was both inevitable and satisfying. Even more satisfying is just how good it turned out to be - amazing kit 11/10
Shine bright like Gundam! For a HG kit like this, not much really needed to be painted, which is something I like about this! The forearm "vents" and the leg thrusters will need to be painted for color accuracy, but they don't look bad gray. Minimal panel lining is needed and really about it!
The only real con to me is the giant Shining finger hand will not stay on the small hand. So if you expect to keep that thing on, you'll probably have to glue it on the small hand.
THE EAST IS BURNING RED This kit is pretty interesting for a 2011 kit. On one hand, it has articulation almost as good as the newest kits- This is the only HG I personally know of with an articulated back skirt! Plus, with left and right Shining Finger parts, a removable, transformable Core Lander, the Shining Finger Sword, and a Hyper Mode transformation, this kit has a lot of play value. Unfortunately, this kit relies on stickers pretty heavily, in particular requiring huge gold stickers on the shoulders. Many other Hyper Mode parts will also require gold paint to be accurate, and these parts can fall off easily when transformed. There's also a giant Shining Finger part, but I have no real idea how it's even possible to attach it to the smaller Shining Finger hand. Most of these are just minor gripes, though, and this is an older kit. This is an excellent kit for all skill levels.
Fantastic but minor flaws The build itself is great and fun. The articulation is pretty good for being a 2011 kit. The only problem is the color accuracy like the gold pieces under the armor.
The shoulders have large gold stickers for the super mode. The pieces under the wrist armor and on the side of the leg for the super mode are just grey (not even a sticker to make it gold). Bandi could of either made gold pieces or stickers to fix said problems.
Still I highly enjoy the build. The Shining Finger and the Shining Finger Sword effect parts are impressive. The parts are shown to be used with the God (Burning) Gundam. I would still highly recommend this kit to any Gundam fan.
