Beautiful kit ehh on the cost So I am a sucker for plated kits and this one was no exception but for those of you who are pinching pennies, I would say stay away from this one because the other Phenex is much better with easier nub marks to clean off. But for those of you who don't care, buy this kit display it because when it is built it is beyond gorgeous.

It's a simple and straightforward kit, without any panel lining or top coating, it took me a total build time of about 3 hours to complete. Absolutely gorgeous, but with a few flaws. It's hard to find a way to attach the shield without it constantly popping off or knocking other things off. The backpack is a nightmare to balance, like most backpacks.

Pretty looking gold, bad nub marks This is a straight hg unicorn build, the gold coating as usual is beautiful. Unlike the HG Delta Gundam, any part of this kit that wasn't redesigned from a Unicorn or Banshee kit is not under gated at all. And those nub marks will fully show on any outer armor. The build is as solid as any unicorn gundam build, not gonna be an up-close looker.

Beautiful but underwhelming As all High grade Unicorns go, the Phenex doesn't offer anything new or spectacular; other than its beautiful gold exterior and aesthetics. The build is straightforward and proportions are decent. Articulation is standard, not much going on executing dynamic action poses. This kit's greatest aspect is just how attractive it is.
