Overall a cool kit I would buy again This is the 4th Gunpla kit I have ever built. The build was straightforward and I appreciated the "undergates" that were used on a lot (not all) of the pieces. The gold head piece will have a black nub mark on the right (Zero's left) because the pieces are PAINTED gold over black plastic. They could have avoided this by placing the gate in another location (there is one right next to it already) but it isn't a deal breaker for me at all because I don't see it unless I am in it's face looking for it. If you are a stickler for those things it may bother you but the kit looks so good I doubt anyone but the builder would notice it when posed and displayed on a desk or shelf.
It is a headache to pose because pieces WILL fall off while you do it. Some people glue some of the pieces prone to falling off but I haven't and they stay on after I have finished posing it. It even shakes a little when I walk around or move things on my desk (where the model is currently on a stand) and things stay put.
I would buy this model if it wasn't given to me as a gift. I bought the Hi Res Barbatos because I liked this one so much. Just be patient while posing it and it will be worth it. Plus it makes posing your other Gunpla feel like child's play!

Wings of a Hero This my first Hi- Res Kit and it won't be the last. Love building and would recommend anyone to buy it.
Buy it, but don't When it's done, yes, it's gorgeous. It's Wing Zero, so of course it's going to be beautiful. That said, as others have pointed out, this WILL REQUIRE GLUE and a LOT of patience. The preassembled inner frame has some quality control issues: the right leg broke when I tried to move it at the hip joint and now swings freely (yes, I tightened the screw), some pieces fall off just looking at them during assembly and many, many, pieces are ungodly hard to attach. Overall I'd say... Maybe skip this one unless you're a diehard Wing fan. More than anything I'm annoyed that this thing cost as much when the cheaper oh-so-purple HiNu I built before it was such a better build.

Good, but has major flaws This is not a kit for a beginner. The instructions can be a little challenging to read and glue is required for some of the small parts so that they do not fall off. Also the hands cannot hold the buster rifle, in single or double mode in any decent pose. The hands can barely hold the beam sabers as well. Aesthetically the kit looks amazing and the wings are a step up from the MG in terms of being able to hold their pose. You just have to accept the issues with the weapons or find a way to modify the hands so that they work better.
Beautiful but frustrating. I love the wing custom zero. But whoever decided to implament the premade frame is trying to re-invent the wheel. I had to use super glue to keep alot of the pieces from falling apart. The hands are snap in 0 dexterity, poses are near impossible without the hands falling off. Make sure you have glue/knife/ high grade clippers and you should have a good build. Lovely model overall.
First kit ever bought Wing Zero is the reason I got into the Gundam series, so I wanted this to be my first kit in my expanding Wing Zero collection.

Amazing kit right out of the box! the amount of color detail on this kit is exceptional! definitely a eye catcher! grab it while its on sale!!
wait.. it chan transform!!!!!! And its in a far cooler version then the wing wraps the EW movie had. ok it broke me i am buying this.
Wing Fan Pre-ordered and recieved the model months ago, but only now just built it. This is a beautiful model.
Part of me wishes there were decals, but if their were it may make the design too busy, so it was probably best they didnt include any. I almost feel bad putting this with the rest of my wing kits, as the presentation is just far better than the other master grades.
want this big time
