Fun to build and paint Its about the size of 144 size but beefy. My joints seemed a little loose, but posed fine. I would ...

If you're a fan of SDs/mini robots, and Zakus, highly recommended. Fun, easy build, leaves no extra parts, and looks cool when it's done.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Great to build, minor QC issues I'm not too familiar with LBX, but I really enjoyed the design of this guy. I'm a sucker for grunt suits, mono-eyes, and earthy colors, after all. He's got more going on in terms of detail and pose-ability than a usual SD kit I'd say (even one with a CS frame), but not quite getting to HG levels of complexity. That means the LBX kits fill a nice detail niche as starter kits between SDCS and HG.
It's a fun, quick build, and runners are set up a bit differently from what you may be used to. They are lettered, but in the instructions you're not getting the usual A23, B14, etc. for part specification. Instead, runners are divided into sections based on where the parts go, and that section has an icon to tell you where it gets used. So runner A will have a section with a little head icon, and those are the only pieces on the runner that will go to building the head. There's icons for the head, body, arms, and legs/hips. Took a little getting used to, but it's a fun approach and lets you split runners into smaller sections to keep more space around your work area open.
That all being said, his head in particular had a lot of stickers. Not too bad to get on, but definitely tricky. Had a hard time getting the shield sticker on flat and just right. My wife got the LBX Pandora and had a ton of stickers as well, so it seems that's something to expect out of the LBX line of kits.
The last thing I want to touch on is the quality control. In both this and my wife's Pandora, we ran into some bubbles in the plastic and parts that were broken before even coming out of the box. If you look at the Deqoo's back and see the three grey pegs above the red transparent piece? One of those was broken and I couldn't find it, so one of those holes is noticeably empty if you look close.
QC and sticker issues aside, this was a really fun kit, and I'm looking forward to digging into more of the LBX line in the future!Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again
