Fiddlin' the night away Welcome to a very ambitious kit. Building it wasn't really too bad and actually kind of fun. But after completing it, the fun kind of ends.
Obviously due to its engineering and needing to be able to transform, but it basically lacks the ability to stand up on its own.
Everyone warns you about the side skirts for this kit and that you need to put them on first (they're right). Another thing to keep in mind: the hip joint pegs are fairly weak. Maybe mine's just showing its age, but when I was gently attempting to remove a leg to put on the dry transfers, the peg connector snapped. It was fixed with plastic cement and the hip appears to have basic functionality, but the fear lingers. And then the right wrist connector stopped working (for lack of a better technical term).
Again, I might just be unlucky. It can happen. And the crab mode is goofy enough to make me laugh just looking at it. Though getting it into that mode is less than fun. Different Gundam I've built this gundam in the past and this was an interesting build. The frame and armor is unique to this gundam not to mention a transforming kit. One of the main issues of this kit is balance on the ground. He cannot stand on his own so an action base/stand is a must for this kit.

Good, but Different This is a solidly designed kit, especially for one that transforms. However, because of the transformation this kit has a lot of extra joints that can make posing a challenge. Other than that, the kit holds together really well.
