One of the best kits on the market Grab this kit while it's in stock, asap.
Aside from it's amazing aesthetics, looking good in any collection, the engineering behind this kit is 11/10.
Compared to other Master Grades, the difficulty would be a step up -- yet still extremely fun to build. The inclusion of water slides over generic sticker decals just make it that much better. On the topic of stickers, there are a few stickers that I believe a kit of this caliber should not even consider, but they are so minimal in terms of final design that I chose to ignore them -- not worth dropping a point.
Without writing too much, this has to be one of the best MGs Bandai has given us -- so order while it's still in stock!
The most fun I've had with a build This build took ten hours before decals and it was awesome. Everything from pieces that took extreme precision to insert to massive pieces that you smash together to make big bad swords larger than the gundam itself. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and if you get it you will too.
This is definitely worth the price. This was only the second model I've ever built so I can honestly say this has started me on a dark road that my wallet will hate me for but at least all of shelves are going to look really cool.
Fun Build! I didn't think I would enjoy the red on white color scheme but it actually looks pretty great. It got tedious towards the end because I was doing 4x of each step at one point. I suggest doing the weapons first, the tedium might be out weighed by the excitement of a new build.
A lot of water slides, I haven't used them yet as I am planning a paint job and panel lining once I develop those skills enough.
With the weapons on the back the gundam will be leaning back a bit. Its incredibly back heavy and that impairs its otherwise strong articulation. If you take the back piece off, you will get a gundam that will hold poses well. Howver some individual pieces dont hold well and I will want to super glue some parts together after painting. The head piece V in particular. Also the bottom back waist pieces, they dont hold well and I will be looking for ways to make their slots a bit tighter fitting.
Thankfully these pieces do not articulate nor help hold the body together. Still annoying though - when posing this one I'm frequently doing the midwestern "ope!" and then putting a piece back in place.
Have fun with the kit, all things considered these are minor complaints. I give almost all 5 stars with -1 star on design for the loose fitting parts. Enjoy!
