Amazing kit This kit looks absolutely amazing. The build quality is great but some joints ,like the upper knee joint, and fin funnel connections get weak over a short period of time. Putting plastic wrap in the weak knee joints and painting the fin funnel attachments is highly recommended.
Amazing, But With A Few Problems The Nu Gundam stands out among other machines both literally and figuratively speaking. Literally in that it's one of the tallest MGs, and figuratively in that it's near all-white appearance immediately draws your eye towards it. Design-wise, there are a few hangups that may just be on my end, but the wrists tend to be fairly loose, not being strong enough to hold up the rifle individually; And the wing funnels are usually fairly finicky and difficult to stick together. Otherwise, the model is fairly solid all around and quite the beautiful piece to have even if one doesn't do that much customization on it.
An absolutely amazing build! If you've built the original MG Nu, you know of it's flaws. When I bought this, I was expecting a slightly retooled MG Hi-Nu, but WOW is this completely different! The quasi-Destroy Mode was a fun touch and quite a surprise as I wasn't paying much attention to what exactly I was building ("huh, why all these green pieces? It's not like I'm ever going to see these under the armor...") Speaking of those green bits, make sure you REALLY pay attention to where the chrome decals go (hint: They go on the UNDERSIDE of the piece). The kit has marvelous balance, even in it's classic configuration of all six funnels on the left side and the kit provides pieces to convert the backpack to a dual fin funnel set up making for a cool "proto Hi-Nu" look. Thanks to the now almost standard notch and tab hands, the beam rifle and beam sabers can be held securely. Finally, the flight stand this comes with is MUCH improved over the one that came with the Hi-Nu. Yes, it's still the same base (I see you Bandai), but the way you attach the fin funnels is far superior over the Hi-Nu now using articulated clear plastic arms instead of bendable clear rubbery plastic that couldn't really hold the weight of the fin funnels, causing them to sag over time. I only wish this came with the energy effect pieces that lock inside the funnels in cannon form. If you have the Hi-Nu, those should still fit as these still have the notches to fit them in.
Favorite MG The build is so solid, and it looks absolutely amazing, especially with the psycho frame
This is gonna look tight next to my Sazabi Ver.Ka! Can’t wait to buy this.

This is what Master Grade is for I spent nearly a month on this kit. Not because I had to, but because I didn't want it to be over. Every detail inside and out is so well planned, the reflective stickers to back the clear parts look incredible and catch the light in such a unique way. That Ver.Ka touch is just... *chef's kiss*. If you want to feel like the size was worth the money, this is the kit. The funnels can be pretty wobbly, but once posed, hold surprisingly well.

Wow. When I first got this kit, I didn't expect such a big box. This kit has so many parts, it makes sense why it is so highly regarded as one of the best kits of the Ver Ka series. It is worth every cent and has some elements that I wish I can see in future MG kits. HOWEVER, it is not without its few, albeit very troublesome, flaws. The stickers for the clear parts were very difficult to line up perfectly, the funnel connections were unsurprisingly weak, and there were some parts of the build that were really improved on in smaller versions.
The Kit any NewType needs to own Just like Amuro you'll feel like a total bass @$$ when this kit is looking you in the face. it's huge and has a beautiful shel pressence. The only downside are the fin funnels on the back...they are loose and have a dendancy to fall off very easily when attached to the back. if you can work with it and make some modifications you'll have a solid build.
