Absolutely beautiful The stand is really what sets this kit off along with the gold plating. At first you might get frustrated at the gold because its not undergated. But the armor covers all the nub marks well. Definitely a great show piece
MG Shin Musha (Sengoku No Gin) The MG Shin Musha gundam is a fantastic kit that anyone can add to their collection. It does lack in some areas of articulation as it is based on an older build of the MG RX-78-2 Gundam, I believe the "One Year War version". Due to this issue it can't pull off the most dynamic of poses, but it more than makes up for that in looks alone, and even though the build is quite dated, it is still as solid as a rock.
I would recommend getting this version of the Shin Musha, the Sengoku No Gin version, because the extra base and stand you get is an absolute set piece in of itself and is guaranteed to catch everyone's attention.
Also this version has gold markings instead of the originals dull coupe-like color, which I find just looks so much better. Although the gold isnt underrated, thankfully the nubs arent too noticable.
All-in-all, this is a glorious kit to get and you need the Sengoku No Gin variant as everything else that comes extra in the box is just so glorious and cool.
Awesome Addition Added this kit to my collection as a birthday present from my wife and one of our first orders from the GP site. Did not disappoint in anyway shape or form. Love the design and setup. The articulation is also really nice and makes it easy to display it in different ways. So glad I added this.
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow The first time I ever walked into Gundam Planet, I immediately noticed this kit in the display case. I was always drawn to it, it's easy for it to catch your eye - The Gold. The Screen. The fact that it looks so completely unlike any other Gunpla kit, but not entirely out of place. It's always stayed with me every time I went to visit the store.
Two years after starting my Gunpla journey, I knew it was time to try this kit.
And it still holds up. It does not disappoint. One of the most pleasant to build kits I've ever built - none of the parts were finicky, even the gold. Looks so fantastic on the shelf. It really feels like an achievement in Gunpla building. It honestly makes me feel like I built a GBWC entry - that's how good this kit is.
If may be my favorite kit I've ever built. It'll be hard to top it.
Great kit and design Great kit and design, great details on very small pieces that surprised me. The stand and everything is awesome. My only issue with this kit was that the gold plated pieces when you cut them the nubs chip of the gold paint, if you have gold paint you should be good as it's very small spots.
Finishing: Top Coat/Super Clear (Not for use on effect parts)
You don’t need cement.
You don’t need paint.
