Classic suit, beautiful design MUST, MUST have if you are a fan of this iconic suit. Wonderfully designed by Bandai. Challenging build but with patience and dedication, anything is possible.
Challenging but worth it. This was my first build in a decade, and what a challenge, mainly due to the large amount of tiny pieces - those belts were a lot of work. It was fun, and absolutely worth it. The only downside is the stickers used for gold and silver detail - there's a lot and they're not easy to place when they're this small.
Fun Sturdy Build My first experience with RG line was the RX78-2 and while I love it, it feels flimsy and is difficult to pose without minor pieces having to be put back in place. Not with this kit. The build was simple, easily posable looks great after decals and panel lining. Be warned it's got some tiny decals like most RG kits that can get frustrating.
A must buy, must build. I was never a fan of the Zaku, but after building one it's a favorite. Huge amount of detail, panelling, and decals. This is and incredible kit to build.
Very cool kit. A lot of detail, panelling and decals. I wasn't really a fan of this design, but after finishing this build the Zaku II has really grown to a favorite.
Tricky build, great results. This is pretty similar to the regular RG Zaku II. One of the trickier RG builds I've done but the result is well worth it. The most challenging bit is, of course, the cables, as they are a lot of small beads around a spring. Just make sure you're working somewhere that you won't lose them forever if you drop them!
A Must for Zaku Lovers and especially the Char fans I was fun assembling the kit, particularly the pipes and beads. Not the a fan of the tiny stickers for silver detailing certain parts, I painted them instead. I have one issue (technically two) after complete assembly; the pipes on the legs does not arch but bends on the middle.
Nice Zaku but the beads are a pain It looks great and for the the second release in a lien, it is surprisingly sturdy. However, the bears used for the pipes are a pain to put on and take a long time to get right.
A must have. The second gunpla I built. Puts the rest of my current builds to shame, and it should because its a RG. It's super posable and the gimmicks are great. The moving eye is awesome. The color separation is awesome and ruins the weapons that come with HGUCs for me. The only con are the decals. The little metallic ones that highlight rivets, well the silver rubs off super easy, and some of the decals just come off randomly. But it's so worth it. It's my favorite model I've built to date, but I still have RG RX-78 and RG Sazabi to finish in my backlog.
