Looks amazing but poor engineering First I want to say that I do love how the completed kit looks. The glossy plastic is a cool affect, and with the thrusters and it's larger size it really looks imposing next to some of my other RG kits. I don't regret buying this kit because it does look cool and I will find a way to pose if well, but I feel it was overpriced. I understand that the cost was always going to be higher because it is a larger and more complicated RG kit, but I do think the shoddy design makes the higher price questionable.
The issues, listen in order of when I encountered them:
1. There are cool piston-looking parts in the ankle. These pop out of place under almost any ammoujt of forward bend in the joint. Not super visible but weird mess up.
W
2. Side thrusters on legs fall off easily and one of the paneling pieces on this broke a little because it wouldn't snap into place easily. Ultimately not noticable but the notch was poorly fitted
3. Theres some bend in the waist as the torso connects to the legs. It's cool design, but the joint isnt tight enough and makes that additional pose-ability moot.
4. The eye section is just underwhelming.
5. The backpack does not connect securely and will fall off the second you touch the model to pose it. Don't even breathe too closely.
5. The pointy bit of the cool black and gold gauntlet looking thing in the wrist interferes with the hands in a way that drastically limits how the model can hold it's weapons. This is the most egregious part of the design, and I would actually find it unforgivable if the suit wasn't saved by just looking badass.
6. Forget about posing this guy with the shield. There just is no good way to do it. It either connects by an extremely loos peg in the shoulder, or by a bracket that attaches on the underside of the forearm. Neither are secure, and both are awkward angles for most shield positions I'd actually want to do.
If you specifically love the Sinanju, go ahead and buy it. It does still look awesome and the time commitment did make me feel better about the cost, but if it's just that it's a big mean red machine with a mono eye and not that it's specifically the Sinanju that catches your fancy, build the Sazabi instead, you'll be happierComment Thank you for your feedback! A fun build but... The Sinanju is definitely an enjoyable build, but the backpack for it doesn't fit flush at all. The most I can recommend is some sticky tack to hold it in place, but still.

Needs superglue This thing just won't stay together... I love this MS so much and the design is so cool and it's so pretty and aaaahhhhh! But the shield doesn't stay on the arm, the knee fall off, the shoulder falls off, the backpack falls off... It just... It just falls apart if you touch it. So I DON'T touch it and it's fine.

SO SHINY!!! people gripe about this mech falling apart. i haven't had that problem. (my working theory is irregularities in the MS joint injection molding) aside from that, it's a dazzling looking mech, and it stands tall and proud in my collection

Ambitious but Troubling Buyer beware as the saying goes. In this case, be vary wary of buying this gunpla kit. If you're like me and love to fiddle with your MS and change up their poses that the RG Sinanju does not hold up that well compared to any of the other RG I have, and I have a good deal of them. Only the RG Zeta was more of a hand grenade, and that was because it was a veriable MS, which should tell you just how bad this thing is. My advice: buy it, and glue it together and keep it posed for eternity. An HGUC Sinanju is better for you money honestly.
