At Long Last! SOLID. This is the most solid Real Grade kit I've built so far. There are less frame parts with built in joints than previous releases, which is kind of a good thing. The level of panel detail feels more like a tidy modern High Grade than a busy looking Real Grade. My only minor complaints are with the joint pieces that the Dober Gun and shield mount on. They could have been simpler but also had better joint structure, but like I said, it's a *minor* gripe. Other than that the feet are kind of small, but it doesn't cause terrible balance issues. You have to figdet parts around only slightly, but it stands quite well. I am absolutely looking forward to the inevitable Tallgeese III retool/ repaint, even if it is a P-Bandai. I'm also already planning a custom, using a hybridization of parts from this kit and the upcoming HG Leo. One last point of interest: It comes with two beam saber effect runners, one in a typical clear cranberry red, the other in clear COLORLESS plastic (the visor and Dober Gun sensor are on the same runner). This presents a nice opportunity for customization.
The Tallgeese - The predecessor to all Mobile Suits, including its successor units: The Tallergeese, and the Tallestgeese.
Oh, I guess I want this beautiful machine too.
TALLGEESE IS LIFE
The Tallgeese is one of my favorite designs. I love seeing all the different ways it's been realized...
Where RG's start to shine If you talk to people who are -deep- into gunpla, you'll hear endless complaints about early RG inner-frames. They loosen up, or outright fall apart.
The Tallgeese is where that ends. It's the basis for all future RG's. It's gorgeous, with lots of features for such a simple-looking suit (MASSIVE, highly-adjustable thrusters, great poseability, especially for the dober gun).
The Tallgeese is my favorite suit, and I'd rate this one above the MG - if there's a downside, it's the RG issue of some of the parts being overcomplicated or just ridiculously small. Take care when assembling!

Great Kit Was super fun to build and put together! I was blown away by the intricacies in the figure, especially the smoothness in the main joints. It looks super great, I highly recommend this kit!
A great value with tons of details This was my first real grade, and I was absolutely blow away by the amount of detail that Bandai crammed into this kit. From buttery smooth elbow/knee joints to all the ridiculous thrusters, this kit is extremely posable. Even standing still, it strikes an imposing figure. The runners themselves have a lot of helpful undergating, and the plastic used throughout the kit cleans up nicely - only the darker grey pieces are susceptible to nub marks, and these are easily fixable with a marker.
Two main criticisms: The included hands require some creative finagling to get the gun into a cool firing position due to the little tabs that secure the gun in the hand but also make gripping the handles a bit tricky (especially the left hand->side handle). The tiny foil stickers are easily the worst part. They can be a pain to apply due to their size, and the visor sticker is already peeling off after about a day.
First RG kit This was my first RG kit. I built the Leo kit right before and it got me curious in this one. The inner frame was super nice and the posing too. I like the coating it was on the outside it adds a good shine. Longer build but it was really fun.
