Beautiful kit Another addition to my RG collection. I never tire of EW.
Cool beans Small because it’s a Wing kit but it’s still awesome
At Long Last! SOLID. This is the most solid Real Grade kit I've built so far. There are less frame parts with built in joints than previous releases, which is kind of a good thing. The level of panel detail feels more like a tidy modern High Grade than a busy looking Real Grade. My only minor complaints are with the joint pieces that the Dober Gun and shield mount on. They could have been simpler but also had better joint structure, but like I said, it's a *minor* gripe. Other than that the feet are kind of small, but it doesn't cause terrible balance issues. You have to figdet parts around only slightly, but it stands quite well. I am absolutely looking forward to the inevitable Tallgeese III retool/ repaint, even if it is a P-Bandai. I'm also already planning a custom, using a hybridization of parts from this kit and the upcoming HG Leo. One last point of interest: It comes with two beam saber effect runners, one in a typical clear cranberry red, the other in clear COLORLESS plastic (the visor and Dober Gun sensor are on the same runner). This presents a nice opportunity for customization.
The Tallgeese - The predecessor to all Mobile Suits, including its successor units: The Tallergeese, and the Tallestgeese.
Oh, I guess I want this beautiful machine too.
Fun Build This is an incredibly fun build! I loved building all of the thrusters and find the whole spartan hoplite theme of the kit incredibly fun. my only comment about the kit is that the feet do not have any side to side articulation making standing poses hard. I would find this to be an issue, but due to the thrusters, this kit visually would look best in a flying pose and I don't need it to stand in too many posed otherwise. I was slightly on the fence about the design just looking at the box, but I loved putting this kit together, I love how it looks completed, and it may now be my favorite real grade kit I've done so far.
Good, Very Very Good. Alright so listen, this kit right here is the real deal. The articulation is through the roof and honestly the detail is impeccable. I know here in the US we have a deep love for Gundam Wing and let me tell you this deserves all of it. Whatever you want this kit to do it can do. When building keep an eye out for the thrusters pods and the shoulders. Both parts have lots of tiny pieces. But let’s be honest this looks fantastic and you know you want one so go ahead and add it to your cart.
Took Bandai Long enough! I got this when it came out, and I love it. I'm glad Bandai finally got around to showing Gundam Wing some love! The Tallgeese is Solid. I love the fact the thing has additional gimmicks that always comes with the Real Grade Line. And that Dober Gun.. Missed that cannon. A definite recommend to get this one!
