Everything you want from Unicorn Gundam, at a fraction of the PG cost As others have said, it is essentially 2 suits for the price of one. The ability to transform between Standard and Destroy Mode is awesome, and what sold me on the model. But there is a trade off in that it can feel like some of the parts being transformed are put under unnecessary stress, even with the carefully planned out mechanics.
My personal favorite is the mechanics of the weapons. The fact that there are "clips" to the Beam Magnum maybe a minor thing to some, but was a touch I very much liked.

The perfect Unicorn kit The RX-0 Unicorn is by far one of my favorite mobile suit designs, and the real grade does this mobile suit design justice with amazing articulation, stunning detail, all on top of a rock solid transformation. Easily the best version of Unicorn you can get right now.
A symbol of hope, a beast of possibilities.... My favorite kit hands down. The transforming gimmick is awesome, the detail - amazing, and the weapons, amazing, I love this kit so much. The articulation is great. Except for the head. The head is very limited, but otherwise this guy can certainly strike a pose! The marking decals/stickers are nice. If done right, the kit can really look REAL!
Love the Kit, Hate reality This is a great kit to build, it transform and everything. The problems i've faced were the parts were so small that I've cracked and destroyed several pieces, the shoulder joint most of all. I'd suggest getting this kit but you need to exercise the inner frames before assembly.
Two mecha in one! This is an impressive kit & it's amazing that Bandai could cram so much into a 1/144 scale kit. The transformation into Destroy Mode is fun, but has a few flaws. The feet can be transformed without removing & repositioning the side panels, but it's tricky to do so. The head also needs to be removed, taken apart & reassembled.
Articulation is great except for the head which has limited movement in Unicorn mode and is practically immobile in Destroy mode. The rest of the body is as mobile as an MG & even has a mid-torso tilt!
I also want to note that, at least on mine, the RG frame shoulders were incredibly stiff and led to stress marks on the L-shaped part that attaches the arm to the torso when moved upward. This is also a kit that definitely benefits from decals to break up the sea of white that is Unicorn mode. Despite my issues, I'm happy with this kit & itching to grab a Barbatos as a companion

Get the cement ready I bought this kit as I was getting into the show, excited to make such a cook looking kit. I don't normally go for gimmicky kits with transformations, but this one actually looked pretty awesome. Unfortunately, the mechanics required for the transformation to happen make it very difficult to maintain. Quite often when attempting to repose or even adjust a current pose, pieces fall off repeatedly making the end result feel fragile and frustrating to work with. I recommend picking one side of the transformation, picking a very simple pose (like the one from the front of the box), and cement anything that falls when you try to put it there.
Those shoulders.... I absolutely adore this kit but it's the only one I've ever broken outright. The shoulders are way too tight, so be sure to loosen them up some. Thankfully mine still stays together!

Can't get any better than this This is one rock solid RG kit (unlike the RG Sinanju). Simple and elegant. Transformation works like a charm. And everything stays in place and looks great in either mode. The transparent red really pops. If you panel line and paint the V-fin gold, this is one gem on the shelf. I'm no fan of the movie, but this kit is a beauty whether you like the movie or not.
