Definitely worth it. Beautiful kit, lots of fun to build (~20 hours) and sticker. Backpack is super heavy but it is still possible to get it to stand without support. Would recommend this kit for people who have experience with RGs.

Beyond "Not just for show" Not that it's been easy getting any Hi-Nu kit before, the Real Grade continues the tradition of excellence with this masterpiece of a figure. I am so glad I preordered this immediately after its announcement.
While early Real Grades have a reputation for being "hand grenades", the Hi-Nu feels surprisingly solid with the frame and plating, complimenting the new design branching from both the MSV and Redesign variants. There was some talk about it being unable to stand without the fuel tanks or an Action Stand but mine is currently standing on the shelf with the Fin Funnel Rack and tanks attached but the tanks are not touching the ground. It just takes some adjusting with the leg movement.
Probably my only complaint is the lackluster beam saber, where while the Nu Gundam has the slick main saber with a small beam from the bottom, the RG version of the Hi-Nu doesn't even get a double-beam like earlier kits, just a plain saber handle with two blue beams. When I have to dig that deep to find a con of this kit, it's a good sign.
I honestly have to rank this as probably my favorite kit ever, and I am excited and curious about how the Real Grade line will continue from this masterpiece.Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

A new level for Gunpla I'm very glad i managed to snag one of these on the restock. This kit as far as I'm concerned has no flaws, everything it has is done perfectly. The articulation is great, the color separation and accuracy is top of the line and the accessories are all great. If i had to nitpick i would complain that getting the beam sabers out of the panels on the wings is a little too tricky for me. Other than that this is a must buy for basically any gunpla fan.

Amazing This kit is great and made me love the Hi-v's design even more, there isn't a single bad thing i could say about this kit. Everything is simple to do but is also complex especially the legs

Raising the bar even Hi(gh)er Putting aside the ongoing debate about the proportions, this is a near-perfect kit. I'll get my only gripes out of the way first: the metallic silver marked easily regardless of whether I sanded or used a knife, though your mileage may vary (flush cuts with a nipper looked better, but still a bit too rough for my tastes). Also, the kit is fairly back-heavy on the ground, so you'll have to get creative to get it to stand on its own.
In every other aspect, the kit is excellent. It is packed with detail and gimmicks, almost to the point of excess. The legs and waist are obvious highlights with nearly every armor panel capable of moving in some way. We're talking a four-stage knee bend and waist skirts that can slide aside! Color separation is great throughout, and the angular gradient on the shield and funnels really pops. The backpack, which contributes to the aforementioned back-heaviness, is worth the extra weight due to highly pose-able wing binders which make for a truly distinctive silhouette.
I would recommend posing this kit up in the air on a stand so that you can spread the wings and/or fire off a few funnels with some jet effects. You won't be disappointed!Comment Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again -

Master Grade Plus Ultra At this point these (sazabi/Nu/Hi-V) are just master grades with a little extra love put into them. I love MGs but I am seriously running out of space and these are the perfect size.

I just love both the Nu and Hi-Nu. They are both my favorite protagonist suits and they're the best designs in all of Gundam, in my opinion.
