In the future, Earth is divided into three main economic blocs that have control over the Orbital Elevator system that houses a massive solar energy conversion system, providing access to an almost limitless source of power for these main blocs and their allies. However, conflict has erupted across smaller nations in crisis as well as between the large blocs who are jockeying for global power. A private armed organization named Celestial Being has four proprietary mobile suits called Gundams and has made it their mission to eliminate conflict forever and create one united humanity.
