This figure is of Emi Nagai from Nagachichi Nagai-san. This review isn't for people who like Nagachichi Nagai-san and who simply want to own a figure of a character they like. I do like Nagachichi Nagai-san but that's not the reason I purchased the figure. You see, I'm an independent game designer and one of the things I do on my team is animation, specifically 3D animation. However, like with all things art, art is harder to do without visualization. So the figures I've purchased, whether they're a fully articulated Spider-Man or Ohma Tokita from Kengan Ashura, I do so specifically for the purposes of posing them to make various choreography easier to then animate on the screen. For male figures, this isn't exceptionally hard. Most of the time male figures have the issue that they're pretty durable but the materials or articulation placements might limit flexibility, but in general it's not hard to find a male action figure that can do every pose you need. Female characters, though, they're much harder. The main issue with female character, especially ones of this particular body type, are either lack of articulation points or lack of durability. In particular many figures of this body type then to have really fragile shoulder joints that pop out way too easily. I'm happy to report that Nagai-san here is every bit as durable as one would hope she is. She's got good shoulder joints, points of articulation across her whole body, and while her hips don't bend forward enough for…
