An aging design gets a beautiful upgrade I fell in love with Gunpla from the old MG Super Gundam kit and the Gundam MK II will always have a special place in my geek heart because of that. So, of course it would be the Version 2.0 that would drag me back into this hobby! Leaner, meaner, and sturdier than the original, the 2.0 is a rock solid kit. With it comes the standard load out of two beam sabers, beam rifle, shield, bazooka and vulcan pod. The articulation is amazing and the engineering of the legs had me drooling. If there's a pose you want this guy to strike, chances are, it'll nail it. An amazing update to an already great classic kit.

MK II love My third build of the Gundam MK II and it did not disappoint. wide range of movement lets me get the poses I want. Also the joints are much more stable than the first master grade, something that bothered me a lot.

Starting to show its age, but still great This master grade has a ton of cool articulation, even on the inside. However, the detail is a little low, the build is quite simplistic, and it feels more like an advanced 1/100 HG than a true, modern MG (including large polycaps and cheaper plastics). All that said, the accessories are awesome, the articulation is still pretty good, and you can tell that it really was great for the time.

The MK 2... a beautiful beast! I knew this was an awesome kit from the reviews I've watched, but actually building it, yeah, I couldn't be happier! About the down-side are the cloth hoses. Yeah, they add a nice touch, but are a pain to work with. Other than that, if you are looking for a challenging kit, you can't go wrong here.
